Is Surgery For Me?

Are you a candidate for weight loss surgery? Patients who are between 18 and 65, weigh at least 50 pounds more than their ideal body weight, and have a body mass index of 35 or more often qualify for weight loss surgery procedures such as LAP-BAND® Adjustable Gastric Banding, REALIZE™ Band, gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, and other effective options.

Our bariatric staff will evaluate you in an initial consultation to determine your candidacy for weight loss surgery procedures. We will also use this time to discuss your options with you and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Assess Your Weight

Your body mass index (BMI) is a way of determining your candidacy for weight loss surgery. Individuals with a BMI of 35 or more, and those with a BMI between 30 and 35 who are also affected by a serious health problem, may qualify for surgery.
